(FEB NEWS) Thursday, 17 August 2023, from the Management Office Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) in 2023, which is also the Commemoration of Universitas Airlangga 69th Anniversary Universitas Airlangga @univ_airlangga, felt by every participant in the ceremony.
Faculties and schools within Universitas Airlangga were all present to participate, wearing traditional Indonesian clothing. Students, lecturers and educational staff, as well as invited guests, were very enthusiastic about participating in the entire flag ceremony procession, not to mention the FEB UNAIR Team was present, dressed in Central Javanese Traditional Clothing and Surabaya Cak-Ning.
Chancellor of Universitas Airlangga - Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE, MT, Ak. gave his message/mandate, in the commemoration event (HUT) of the 78th Independence of the Republic of Indonesia to continuously work together to realize the meaning of "Independence", realize the meaning of "Fulfilling Independence", realize Freedom of Learning (Freedom from fear, Freedom from insecurity , Freedom from acts of violence, Freedom from bullying, both from friends/lecturers/educational staff at Universitas Airlangga , such as: acts of threatening, embarrassing, disturbing, calling names, degrading, intimidating, cursing, and spreading bad gossip). "There can be no killer lecturers on campus! Are there still lecturers who are nicknamed "killer lecturers" today? Already not available?" That was the message from the Chancellor Universitas Airlangga .
"Let's work together/work together to provide benefits to humanity, make a real contribution to our beloved country, Indonesia, towards a just and civilized society," was the final message from Prof. Nasih, which is emphasized to always be remembered and implemented in everyday real life, to the entire academic community Universitas Airlangga .
