24, February 2025 - The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) again carved pride with various extraordinary achievements achieved by its alumni. In February 2025 this is a special moment where FEB UNAIR alumni are believed to carry various strategic positions, both in government and other sectors.
This success is a clear proof that FEB UNAIR does not only score competent graduates in the academic field, but also has qualified leadership quality. The alumni who are now active in various sectors have proven that the knowledge and experience they gained during college at FEB Airlangga University had had a positive impact on the wider community.
Alumni who carved achievements
The following are FEB UNAIR alumni who have achieved important positions in the government and related agencies:
1. Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi
Alumni of the 1993 Development Economics, currently serves as Deputy Head of the Central Statistics Agency. His dedication in the national statistical sector contributed greatly to accurate and trusted data -based policy making.
2. Muhammad Ali Affandi LNM
Management alumni of the 2006 class, is now trusted as an expert in the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and the Development of the Republic of Indonesia. With his expertise in the field of infrastructure, he plays a role in the preparation and implementation of national development policies.
3. H. Muhammad Fawait, SE, M.Sc.
Economic Alumni of the 2005 Development Economics, is now trusted as the Regent of Jember. With an economic education background, he is committed to bringing development policies based on inclusive growth and sustainability.
4. Hj. Ika Puspitasari, SE of
the 1997 accounting alumni, who is now carrying out the mandate as Mayor of Mojokerto. Its work in regional financial governance and the development of the creative economy has brought Mojokerto into an increasingly advanced city.
5. Aditya Halindra Faridzky, SE
of the 2011 Development Economic Alumni, currently serves as the Regent of Tuban. Under his leadership, Tuban Regency continues to experience rapid development, especially in the economic and infrastructure sectors.
6. H. Fandi Akhmad Yani, SE, M.MB.
The 2004 management alumni, currently serving as Gresik Regent. With experience in management and business, he continues to encourage industrial growth and the welfare of the Gresik community.
7. Khofifah Indar Parawansa
Governor of East Java is currently the recipient of the Honoris Causa Doctoral degree in economics from FEB Airlangga University. Under his leadership, East Java became one of the provinces with stable economic growth and inclusive development policies.
These alumni prove that FEB Airlangga graduates are able to compete and contribute greatly to the nation and state. Their success is an inspiration for the generation of students and other alumni to continue to work and have a positive impact on the community.

The achievements of these alumni are not only a matter of pride for FEB Unair, but also proves that this faculty continues to commit to producing future leaders who are integrity, competent, and highly dedicated. With a curriculum that is always adapted to the times and extensive networks with the industrial and government world, Feb Unair continues to be one of the best economic and business education institutions in Indonesia.
