ABSTRACT
Employees who have organizational citizenship behavior are important assets for the company, they not only think about their interests and goals but will also contemplate and contribute actively to advance and achieve company goals by performing extra role behavior at individual, organizational and customer levels.
This study aims to determine the effect of organizational justice on The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of organizational justice toward organizational citizenship behavior, and to discover the influence of organizational justice toward organizational
citizenship behavior by applying the person organization fit and the employee engagement factors as the mediation. The study used a quantitative approach by applying the questionnaire as the method of data collection. The sample of the study was 170 employees of PT Berlian Jasa
Terminal Indonesia who were involved in container loading and unloading and other seaport services. The used method of analysis is Partial Least Square (PLS).
The results of the study indicated that organizational justice had not positively significant effect toward organizational citizenship behavior on PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia employees, so the first hypothesis was not proven. For the second hypothesis, the result of organizational justice had a positively significant effect toward organizational citizenship behavior on the employees of PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia by applying the employee engagement as the mediation, so the second hypothesis proved its truth. For the third hypothesis the result of organizational justice had positively significant effect toward organizational citizenship behavior on the employee of PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia by applied the person organization fit as the mediation, so the third hypothesis proved its truth.
Employee engagement and person organization fit as the mediator of the influence of organizational justice toward organizational citizenship behavior on the employees of PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia. Therefore, the organization must be maintain the factors that are able to strengthen or increase employee engagement and person organization fit. Furthermore, by the low of effect of OCB-Customer dimension compared to OCB-Individual and OCB-Organization toward OCB, the management should also pay attention to the factors that strengthen the emergence of extra role behavior of employees in PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia especially related to service and satisfaction to the customer since PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia is engaged in services.
