Wednesday (24/02/21), the BLM FEB UNAIR Legislation Commission held its first work program, namely Plenary Session I. This session discussed the AD/ART Law and the BEM FEB UNAIR Protap (Permanent Procedures) Bill. The trial was held via room g-meet due to the pandemic situation which made it impossible to meet face to face. At 18.00 WIB the trial participants consisting of all BLM FEB UNAIR members and staff began to enter the g-meet room. The session was chaired by 3 permanently elected presidiums, namely, Satrio as presidium 1, Laras as presidium 2 and Nadia as presidium 3.
The mechanism for carrying out the trial is regulated in the draft rules of conduct which were discussed at the beginning of the trial. After the rules and regulations were agreed, the session continued by discussing the BLM FEB UNAIR AD/ART Law. The trial ran smoothly even though there were several network problems for the trial participants. Until 21.00 WIB the trial was postponed until the following day because it fulfilled the initial agreement from the participant forum. Thursday (25/02/21) the trial continued with the same discussion. After going through various debates between trial participants, the AD/ART Law was finally passed.
Furthermore, Thursday (04/03/21) BLM FEB UNAIR held a session to discuss the Protap Bill. The session proceeded in an orderly manner and the Protap Bill could be passed on the same day. The Draft Protap Bill which has been ratified, will be discussed further with BEM FEB UNAIR through the Protap Socialization program on Wednesday (10/03/21).
