(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga took part in enlivening the Flag Ceremony in commemoration of Heroes' Day and the 70th Anniversary Universitas Airlangga which was held from morning to noon in the courtyard of Universitas Airlangga Management Office, Campus C Mulyorejo. This ceremony carries the spirit of patriotism and togetherness as a form of respect for the nation's heroes as well as celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of Universitas Airlangga , (10/11/2024).
With the theme "Exemplify your heroes, love your country," this ceremony invites all elements of society, including the UNAIR academic community, to foster patriotism, love for the country, and instill noble values in the next generation. It is hoped that this warning will be able to move every individual to contribute to the nation according to their respective professions and abilities.
After the ceremony, FEB UNAIR added to the excitement of the event by participating in *Contingent Defile*, part of UNAIR Game 70JoSS. The synergy between lecturers, education staff and FEB UNAIR students in this march not only displays solidarity and togetherness, but also becomes a real manifestation of the slogan "FEB SATU – UNAIR HEBAT." In one of the competitions, FEB UNAIR won 2nd place in the Tire Girding Racing branch, showing a high competitive spirit.
Dean of FEB UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA., congratulated him on this achievement, and did not forget to always encourage his team and always give the message that winning is not the main goal. “Friendship, togetherness, joy and unity are the most important points. "This event is not only about winning, but also about growing strong brotherhood among all of us," he said with great pride.
With this spirit, FEB UNAIR and all UNAIR academics are committed to continuing to achieve achievements and together upholding the name of Universitas Airlangga in various arenas, building a nation with strong togetherness.
And during the day, the entire contingent was treated to the freedom of choice to enjoy food, drinks and traditional snacks from MSMEs which could be purchased at the Keramat Market.
