Karimah Akbar is Mosaic's annual Muslim agenda in the form of a competition specifically for Muslim women which is posted on social media, namely Instagram. There is one sub-competition, namely a competition to create Muslimah content in the form of interesting Instagram reels. This agenda is carried out with the aim of increasing Muslim women's creativity and developing da'wah in society digitally. For the Muslimah Diary, the first part will take place on 21 October – 08 November 2024.
The target participants for this Muslimah Diary activity are Muslimah throughout Indonesia, especially Muslimah students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . The preparation of Instagram feed content and video podcasts by participants in their respective places and collected via participants' Instagram by tagging the accounts @mosaicfebunair and @kemuslimahanmosaic. Judging is carried out by voting with the assessment aspects namely 40% creativity, 30% content, 30% suitability of the theme. There were three winners from each competition event, the winners were announced via a post on the Instagram account @kemuslimahanmosaic and received attractive rewards from the committee. Mosaic's Muslim Affairs Division, through its Karimah Akbar activities, wants to show that women can develop creativity and spread Islamic da'wah. This activity supports SDGs Goal 4: Quality Education, by providing non-formal education through platforms such as Instagram. By creating Instagram reels, Muslim women can share their da'wah widely, expand their creativity, and provide experiences that cannot be obtained from formal education. Using Instagram also makes it easier to access information for all Muslim women, encourages lifelong learning, and increases self-confidence in conveying ideas and opinions.
