kafita feb unairWomen's Fiqh Study "KAFITA" is a series of Muslim women's studies that discuss women's fiqh. This aims to increase ukhuwah among Muslim women and increase insight regarding women's jurisprudence according to Islamic law. The "KAFITA" Women's Fiqh Study consists of material delivery sessions and discussions or questions and answers which will be filled by ustadzah who are experts in their fields. The Women's Fiqh Study "KAFITA" was held on Saturday, 14 October 2023. It was carried out offline in the Akhwat Hall of the Nuruzzaman Mosque, Campus B, Universitas Airlangga . The material discussed was on the theme of Premarital Studies entitled "Stay halal sist: Mission to find a life partner" with the speaker (). Before participants take part in KAFITA, participants are required to fill out the registration via the Google Form provided and also join the WhatsApp Group so that participants do not miss out on the information explained.
The target participants for this Karimah Routine activity are Muslim women in general, especially Muslim women from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . The target for this event is to be attended by a minimum of 50 participants.
Through this "KAFITA" Women's Fiqh Study activity, Mosaic's Muslim Affairs Division wants to highlight that women also have the right to obtain knowledge related to Islam without any restrictions. This is in accordance with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 4, namely "Quality Education" and No. 5, namely "Gender Equality".

SDG No. 4 related to this activity is as follows:
● Access to Education: SDG No. 4 emphasizes the importance of providing access to quality education for all, including Muslim women. This means that Muslim women must have easy access to learn about aspects of jurisprudence that are relevant to womanhood.
● Quality of Education: SDG No. 4 also emphasizes the importance of quality of education. The study of Women's Fiqh is carried out to a high and adequate standard so that the knowledge obtained by Muslim women is in accordance with true Islamic teachings.
● Lifelong education: SDG No 4 also recognizes the importance of lifelong education. This means that Muslim women must be given the opportunity to continue to improve their understanding of women's jurisprudence throughout their lives.

Meanwhile, SDG No. 5 related to this activity is as follows:
● Equal Access: SDG No. 5 emphasizes the importance of gender equality in all aspects of life, including education. This means that Muslim women must have the same access as men to take part in women's fiqh studies.
● Women's Empowerment: Gender equality also includes women's empowerment in the fields of education and religion. Enabling Muslim women to study and deepen women's jurisprudence is a form of empowering them in understanding their rights and duties in accordance with Islamic law.
● Elimination of Discrimination: SDG No 5 also emphasizes the elimination of discrimination against women. This means that Muslim women should not be hindered or discriminated against in their efforts to increase their knowledge of women's jurisprudence in accordance with Islamic religious law.
