personal branding feb unair 2023Personal Branding and Career Mentoring (PBCM) is one of the work programs of the PSDM division of the Islamic Economics Student Association (HIMA EKIS) Universitas Airlangga for the 2023 period, namely a series of events with the theme "Building Student Work Professionalism with an Independent Campus" containing 2 agendas which are held offline and online within 3 days.

PBCM accommodates students who are interested in taking part in MBKM. PBCM will be implemented in 2 agendas, namely Seminar, Talkshow, and Mentoring which will discuss MBKM in offline seminars. Meanwhile, the mentoring agenda will raise the topic of Critical Thinking and Problem Solving in the 1st offline mentoring and the topic of Interview Practice in the 2nd online mentoring.
The first agenda is a seminar which will be held on May 16 2023 in the Fadjar Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity was filled with material presentations by 2 external and internal presenters who explained about MBKM, such as the procedures for us if we want to take part in the MSIB MBKM Internship, the MBKM timeline, and information about internships.

On the second agenda, namely the 1st mentoring which will be held on May 19 2023 in room 207, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity is filled with the presentation of the first mentoring material, namely Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, an explanation of how to solve a problem, determine priorities, and how to position yourself and react when making decisions.

Next on the final agenda is the 2nd mentoring which will be held online on May 23 2023 in a zoom meeting. This activity is filled with material presentation and also interview practice. The material presented in the second mentoring will more specifically explain the things that need to be prepared before conducting an MBKM interview and also practice directly with the mentor who has been prepared.

This activity was carried out specifically for all undergraduate students of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga with the aim of providing information related to good personal branding and preparing themselves to enter the career world, including: knowing basic skills in the Society 5.0 era, knowing someone's interests in the field work that suits his passion, knowing the fundamentals of a healthy company. This event supports SDGs number (4), namely quality education. This activity underscores the importance of quality education which must be inclusive, relevant and provide the skills needed for a productive life.
