The MESC work program or "Management E-Sport Competition" initiated by the Sport and Art department of HIMA S1 Management Universitas Airlangga is an e-sports competition aimed at active students Universitas Airlangga and the general public who are interested and talented in the field of e-sports. The aim of MESC is as a forum for active Universitas Airlangga students and the general public to train their dexterity in strategic thinking through the online games Mobile Legend and Stumble and Fifa23.
In the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), MESC 2023 is related to SDGs number 17, namely "Partnership For The Goals". The MESC 2023 program aims to facilitate Universitas Airlangga students and the general public to be able to compete in the e-sports field. This program does not limit the formation of teams consisting of various departments and faculties, thereby encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration in this competition. MESC is also collaborating with ormawa (student organizations) from several faculties and departments to disseminate information regarding MESC 2023.
With MESC, it is hoped that participants can develop their abilities and interests in the field of e-sports, as well as achieve achievements in this competition. Apart from that, MESC is also a platform to strengthen collaboration and cooperation between students from various study programs and faculties in achieving common goals.
