ECW is one of the major work programs implemented by the 2021 Development Economics Student Association. This program with an entrepreneurial theme is under the entrepreneurship department of HIMA EP Unair.
Entrepreneurship and Career Workshop (ECW) is an event that provides knowledge on how to create or enter the business world and provides insight and skills in preparation for entering the world of work as well as job information for job seekers through training and workshops. Apart from job seekers, ECW can also increase knowledge for students who want to start their own business. In 2021, ECW has the theme "The Importance of Human Capital in the Professional World" which consists of 2 series of events, the first series is a Seminar on career and entrepreneurship. The second series is a workshop.
On November 14 2021, a career workshop was successfully held with the theme "strength of Brand You" with the speaker, Sis Vina A. Muliana, a BUMN Career Professional & Content Creator. In this workshop series session, Sis Vina provides insight into self-branding to increase the possibility of applying for jobs. Here, Sis Vina gave a lot of tips and suggestions on what needs to be done to improve self-branding, and the participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in the session which was held on November 14.
Furthermore, on November 20 2021, a series of follow-up events to the career workshop were held with the theme "Hack Your Business Growth with Copywriting" which was guided by Kak Raharja Putra, a Professional Copywriter and Copywriting Mentor at Boston Consulting Group, in this session, as the title suggests, provided material regarding copywriting, where copywriting is very useful in business, such as for advertising and providing descriptions of products and various needs that require other writing. So that participants are expected to have copywriting skills to apply in their fields later.
Finally, the 10th ECW Webinar was able to run successfully, and was attended by hundreds of participants from various regions, hopefully the knowledge provided by the presenters at this activity can be applied by participants in their respective regions.
