LPH (Hima Brotherhood Cross) is one of the annual work programs of the PSDM Department of the Development Economics Student Association. The 2021 Hima Brotherhood Cross (LPH) series of events will be held online based on the Tri Dharma values ​​of Higher Education and also EP SOLID. The Hima Brotherhood Cross (LPH) is also a forum for fostering a sense of pride in the campus, and in particular strengthening family ties between Development Economics students, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . Starting with the Welcome Party which was held on Saturday, 11 September 2021, then followed by a series of LPH events from session 1 to session 6 every Saturday, on 18 September, 2, 16, 23 October, 13 and 20 November 2021.

 

The first event in the entire series of events was the Welcome Party with the theme The New Journey which had the aim of providing a welcome and providing a forum for introduction to new students. The educational value will be presented through the Bridging Program event in the LPH Session 1 sub-event. In this sub-event, new students will be given material regarding lectures from an academic perspective, delivery of information regarding the implementation of online and hybrid lectures, an overview of the programs provided by the campus, as well as a general overview of scholarships, mawapres, and fastrack in Development Economics. The value of research and development will be realized in FGD activities by raising current issues. With this activity, it is hoped that new students will be able to think critically about existing issues and be active in the FGD. 

 

The next values ​​are culture, kinship and pride. Where these values ​​are sub-values ​​of EP SOLID. The culture in question is EP culture, so new students majoring in Development Economics will be given an introduction to the cultures in the Development Economics department. This will be conveyed at LPH Session 5 with the theme Let's Talk which is divided into several sharing sessions with the alumni class of Development Economics students. The sharing discussed the values ​​in HIMA EP, surviving in college, alumni experiences during college, and careers that can be pursued after graduating from Development Economics. Family values ​​and pride will be instilled when welcoming new students majoring in Development Economics, conducting inaugurations, and other LPH activities that require cooperation and solidarity.
