GRWE or Gebyar Ramadhan With Ekis is a series of events organized by the Public Relations division of Islamic Economics Students as a form of concern for people in need. In this GRWE event there are 3 sub-activities such as sharing food in the form of packaged rice with street people. After the takjil distribution activity, there will be a Ramadhan Safari at the Surabaya Mosque followed by breaking fast with all the Hima Ekis Unair administrators.
This activity is hoped for by people who are less able to meet their food needs or do not have time to break their fast at home but on the road. There is also a series of other activities, namely sahur on the road, where this activity is also carried out by distributing food at several points on Surabaya roads. The highlight of the event will be held at the Surabaya Nursing Home.
The entire series of activities will be carried out offline for 3 days, namely on 18, 21 and 31 March 2024, located around Universitas Airlangga Campus B, the Mosque in Surabaya, and the Surabaya Nursing Home. This activity is related to SDGs number 2 without hunger because the aim of holding this activity is to share food and basic necessities with underprivileged communities.
