Teaching With Ekis (MEJIK) is one of the work programs held by the Public Relations Division of HIMA EKIS Universitas Airlangga in order to provide education and insight to elementary school children who are members of the Surabaya Child Care Community,
WEPOSE Reading Park. This year MEJIK's work program has the theme "Push Your Confident With Us" with the main topics of religious learning, English and fun learning. The choice of topic will focus on how to increase children's self-confidence. The choice of theme was also motivated by the importance of forming a sense of self-confidence as a basis for forming a generation or leader who has the courage to make decisions.
This work program will be implemented on May 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31; 1 and 3 June 2023, at 15.45 – 17.00 WIB offline. This activity will be attended by around 7 Islamic Economics students every day as volunteers for the Teaching With Ekis activity. The MEJIK work program is a form of effort to improve the SDGs, especially those related to point 4, namely regarding Quality Education. With this program, it is hoped that the children of the WEPOSE Community can gain new knowledge regarding religious, moral and English material.
