“2022 UN BIG DATA HACKATHON”
The Statistical Commission agreed at its 45th session to establish a UN Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics (UN-CEBD) to further investigate the benefits and challenges of Big Data, including the potential for monitoring and reporting on development goals . In this context, UN-CEBD and the larger official statistics community recognize the need to address issues relating to methodology, quality, technology, data access, legislation, privacy, management and finance, and provide adequate cost-benefit analysis of use of Big Data
