The Islamic Economics Student Association has several major programs being implemented this year, one of which is Ekis Goes to Village (EGD) 2022. Ekis Goes to Village (EGD) is a type of village servant program which is participated in by Islamic Economics students Universitas Airlangga . This year, EGD 2022 has the theme "Elaboration on the development and utilization of natural resources and human resources in Mangirejo Hamlet, Wonosalam Village, Jombang, East Java in the aspects of health, education, environment and economy in order to increase sociopreneurship and environmental awareness." Through this activity, the committee contributed directly to the people of Mangirejo Hamlet, Wonosalam Village, especially in building and developing the village's potential, both in the economic, educational, environmental and health sectors.
On July 21 2022, the education sub-event committee implemented the Teaching Ideals, Morals and Environment program to support education at SDN Wonosalam 4, Mangirejo Hamlet. The media used to support the sustainability of this program are video media, Ministry of Education and Culture training sheets, planting hydroponic plants, and curtain crafts for dreams. This concept was raised to provide an understanding to elementary school students of the importance of basic morals (honest, independent, caring) in everyday life, to explain to elementary school students the benefits of protecting the environment and the impact if we do not protect the surrounding environment, and to introduce how important it is dreams for elementary school students. It is hoped that teaching with the concepts provided can foster enthusiasm for ethics, protecting the environment and achieving dreams. This program is related to optimizing SDGs number 4, namely Quality Education, aimed at students at SDN Wonosalam 4.
