EXPECTANICA
Ekspectanica is one of the work programs of the arts and sports division of the Universitas Airlangga Islamic Economics Student Association for the 2022 period. This event is the result of a combination of events in the previous period, namely, Ekis Cup External and Ekis Got Talent. This year the two events merged into an event entitled "Ekspectanica", and there was an additional sub-event, namely the Ekis Film Photography Festival.
Ekis Cup External is one of Ekspectanica's sub-events. The External Ekis Cup, which is usually called ECE, is a national competition at SMA/MA/MK equivalent level which covers all regions in Indonesia, especially the province of East Java. This year's Ekis External Cup will have 4 competitive branches, namely mobile legends, PUBG mobile, basketball and futsal. The Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile competitions will be held online and the basketball and futsal competitions will be held offline. The External Ekis Cup will be held from 30 August to 11 September 2022.
Ekis Got Talent (EGT) is a band competition held for SMA/MA/MK and equivalent. Ekis Got Talent will be held in two rounds, namely the online preliminary round and offline in the semi-final and final rounds. The semi-final round will be held on September 17 2022
Ekis Film Photography Festival (EF3) is a national competition at SMA/MA/MK equivalent level covering all regions in Indonesia, especially the province of East Java. The event will be held online in the preliminary round and there will be the 10 best films that will be screened offline. At the film screening there was also an exhibition of the photography of all the participants. Offline film screenings will be held on September 24, 2022.
At Ekspectanica there will also be social service events as a form of our concern for the surrounding environment. The social service event will be divided into two, namely "Breakfast is Important", which is an action to share breakfast with the general public, especially daily workers and "Friends of the Earth" which is an action to reduce plastic waste by making a movement to exchange 3 pieces of plastic waste from the community for packaged milk and bread.
The main aim of this event is to introduce Islamic economics to the general public through arts and sports activities, and it is hoped that this event will be able to produce competition winners who are interested in Islamic economics. This event is related to SDGs number 4, namely quality education because it educates to improve non-academic skills and also hobbies.
