An FEB UNAIR student was selected as a finalist in the grand final of the Mandalika Essay Competition. The Riski Prima Sentosa Foundation, under the auspices of the Directorate General of Legal Administration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, has held the Mandalika Essay Competition, which is a national level essay competition as an activity which is expected to be a part of supporting the development of the quality and quantity of human resources in Indonesia.

This event is related to SDGs number 4, namely quality education. In line with that, aspects of cooperation and good communication between young intellectuals need to be fostered and cultivated. The main requirement for achieving scientific development apart from funds and facilities is the potential of human resources (HR). It cannot be denied that the development currently being carried out in our country requires potential human resources with a high level of professionalism.

The potential of human resources in Indonesia can be said to be in a critical area, where quite a few educated workers are unable to apply the knowledge they have acquired. Students are expected to be able to develop innovation and creativity based on the knowledge they gain, one of which is in written form. This competition carried the theme "Creative Ideas and Innovation for a Golden Indonesia" which was attended by 348 participants from all over Indonesia.

Islamic Economics undergraduate student, Ayunisa Dinda Nur Rahma, has been declared to have passed the selection and has the right to advance to the Grand Final stage which will be held on March 25 2022 at the West Nusa Tenggara State Museum.

Finalists are required to take part in a series of activities in the form of presentations, volunteering and field trips from 25 to 27 March 2022 in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
