The English Course is one of the work programs of the Jakesma Hima Islamic Economics Division which is needed by Islamic Economics students to improve their English language skills and help Islamic Economics students achieve an ELPT/TOEFL score of more than 450. The English Course is conducted twice in one period. The first wave of the English Course in collaboration with the Vit English Kampung England Pare Kediri institution which was held on March 26 – April 4 2021, had two types of sub-events, namely training and tests. The first wave of the English Course was held in six meetings, starting with a pre-test, then continuing with training (Listening, Structure, Reading, Review All Lessons) and finally closing with a final test. The second wave of the English Course will be held on 23 October – 7 November 2021, in terms of the concept of the event, further coordination is still needed from the parties concerned.
Before holding the training, we created a participant registration form. Then registration and payment close 4 days before the implementation of the English Course. To take part in the first batch of the English Course, participants are required to pay IDR 50,000.00 per person. This fee includes six meetings with two sub-events, namely training and tests. In the training, participants will receive material and discussion of the practice questions that have been given.
