Accounting Cup is an Arts and Sports Competition within the internal scope of students majoring in Accounting, Universitas Airlangga . The aim of ACUP itself is to strengthen the sense of kinship and ties between AKS1 residents. Apart from that, ACUP is a forum for channeling the hidden interests and talents of AKS1 residents, and channeling the feeling of tournament euphoria for residents who have never experienced it. ACUP is also a sporting event that is eagerly awaited every year. Where ACUP itself is the door for AKS1 residents who want to take part in events with a wider scope, such as the Dean Cup and Rector Cup.
The essence of ACUP is kinship. Namely, kinship with sportsmanship. A family that still 'hugs' each other, but still obeys the rules (SOP) set by the event committee.
The theme we are carrying for this year's ACUP is, "Eternal Flame". With this theme, it is hoped that the family ties and sense of belonging among AKS1 residents will remain as strong as the "Eternal Flame" that maintains its embers. And with the hope that this year's ACUP can restore a sense of togetherness after the Covid-19 pandemic broke out.
