When choosing a profession as a career that students will pursue in the future, adequate understanding of the chosen profession is required. This is the background for the Undergraduate Accounting Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga to hold the 2022 Professional Surgery activity. The professional surgery itself is a work program from the Intellectual Sector of the Accounting Undergraduate Student Association.
This year's professional review carries the theme "Accountants in the midst of a global recession." There are 2 speakers from the Government Accounting profession and East Java Economic Bureau Accounting.
The global economy is currently in a state of decline, it is reported that next year, namely in 2023, the entire world will experience an economic recession which will be strengthened by the increase in world bank interest rates, Covid 19, the prolonged war between Ukraine and Russia and several other factors. An accountant in overcoming this economic crisis has a very important role in providing financial information to interested parties with the aim of precisely making decisions.
