National Seminar: Rise of Indonesian Youth 2019 is a work program held by the Entrepreneurship Division of the UNAIR Accounting Student Association 2019. This activity was held on Saturday, 4 May 2019 in the KRT Fadjar Notonegoro Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . The National Seminar entitled Rise of Indonesian Youth is an activity to open students' insight into entrepreneurship in order to face the very rapid technological advances in Indonesia. The ability of the younger generation to adapt to the needs of the business world and the ability to be entrepreneurial and create their own business opportunities will be very beneficial for Indonesia's economic growth. Through this seminar, it is hoped that thoughts and suggestions will emerge that can be used as guidance and guidelines for students and the general public to take advantage of independent business in the face of increasing job competition.

The 2019 National Seminar: Rise of Indonesian Youth has the theme "Technoculture As A Chance of Economic Growth" which will be attended by 150-300 participants consisting of pupils, university students and the general public. This seminar is held using a panel discussion or talk show method, where several prominent figures will be speakers. Among them are Mr Restog Krisna Kusuma, SH., M.Sc., AK as Main Secretary of the Indonesian Creative Agency, Mrs Widya Yuliarti, SST., MM., CFP as Financial Planner PT. Solusi Finansialku Indonesia, and the main speaker was Keenan Pearce as CO-Founder & Managing Director of Makna Creative. 

It opened with a discussion of material from the Main Secretary of the Indonesian Creative Agency, Mr. Restog Krisna Kusuma, SH., M.Sc., AK, discussing material regarding the introduction of Technoculture. Mr. Restog explained about the very rapid development of Technoculture towards Business in Indonesia today.

 

Followed by material presented by Financial Planner PT. My Financial Solution Indonesia Mrs. Widya Yuliarti, SST,. Here, Mrs. Widya delivered material about how to utilize this technoculture in everyday life, especially in the financial sector and also conveyed about how to manage finances in this Technoculture era, where on average everyone has switched to Fin-Tech.

In the second session, the event opened with material from the CO-Founder & Managing Director of Makna Creative Keenan Pearce. In this session, Keenan shared material about the journey and struggles he had undertaken so that he could successfully develop Creative Meaning. Here Keenan also provides tips for us to start a business

 

Apart from bringing in prominent speakers, the National Seminar: Rise of Indonesian Youth 2019 also brought performances from SAMAN FEB UNAIR Dance and Art Accounting from UNAIR HIMA Accounting. The participants who attended were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the National Seminar until the end of the event. The seminar ran smoothly, with at least 200 participants attending a series of National Seminars on the Rise of Indonesian Youth this year.
