Being busy in the world of lectures is not an obstacle for the Universitas Airlangga delegation team to continue making achievements.

Accounting Olympiad 2019 is an annual event organized by the STIE YKPN Yogyakarta Accounting Department Student Association. This year's Accounting Olympiad has the theme "Raise Your Abilities to become a Professional Accountant" with the hope that through this Olympiad we can develop the accounting profession towards public trust.

This activity was attended by several teams from various universities, namely Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta State University, STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Bachelorwiyata Tamansiswa University, and Yogyakarta Technology University. Praise be to God Almighty, the Universitas Airlangga delegation team consisting of Tanaya Devi Kemala Agni (2016 Accounting), Fince Layadi (2016 Accounting), and Patrick Aloysius Wijaya (2016 Accounting) succeeded in winning 1st place in the 2019 Accounting Olympiad.

The activities held on Sunday, 12 May 2019 consisted of several series of events, namely the preliminary round, semifinal round and final round. After going through the preliminary round, 4 teams were selected who had the right to continue in the semifinal and final rounds. In the semifinal round, an open debate was held, then continued with the final round, which was a quiz competition.

Hopefully the achievements that have been achieved can make Universitas Airlangga proud and become an inspiration for Universitas Airlangga students in the next competition event.
