On Friday, April 30 2021, the FEB Unair Capital Markets Study Group (KSPM) held a Capital Markets School which is a routine activity held every year. The Capital Markets School itself is an education and socialization program on investment in the capital markets. The target participants for this Capital Markets School are those who are still unfamiliar with capital markets and investment, but have an interest in learning about it. This year the Capital Markets School was held in the form of a webinar featuring two presenters from the Indonesian Stock Exchange and IPOT.

One of the presenters in this SPM is Dyan F Mahardika who works as an Executive Trainer for the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Which provides material regarding a general overview of the importance of investment. In his explanation, the speaker explained how inflation continues to occur all the time, so according to him if money is not used properly, they will continue to experience losses due to the decline in the value of the currency. So from this problem, investment is one solution to fight inflation. Apart from that, he also explained about the capital market, including the instruments available in the capital market, the structure of the capital market in Indonesia, the growth of investors in the capital market during the pandemic, and the level of financial literacy in Indonesia.

The second speaker is Imelda who is a senior representative from IPOT Surabaya. The material presented in this second session regarding IPOT includes IPOT products, namely applications provided by IPOT to make it easier to manage personal finances. Not only that, in this second session it was also explained directly how to open an account at IPOT up to the investment stage. Mrs. Imelda also gave tips on choosing shares, one of which is through fundamental analysis and technical analysis.

This year's Capital Markets School, although held online, did not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants. Not only does it contain presentations of material from the presenters, in this year's SPM series of events there are also games in the middle of the event which makes the Capital Markets School this time less monotonous and more interactive for the participants.
