Airlangga Youth English Competition (AYEC) 2024 is a collaborative work program between BEM FEB Universitas Airlangga and IUP FEB Universitas Airlangga in the form of competitions for various English language branches participated in by high school students in Indonesia. The 2024 Airlangga Youth English Competition aims to provide introduction and branding of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) FEB Universitas Airlangga to high school students in Indonesia as well as external parties from FEB Universitas Airlangga .
Implementation of this work program also supports the realization of the 4th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely Quality Education, because holding AYEC for all high school students in Indonesia can be a means of promoting inclusive and equitable language education. This competition can then help motivate students to learn English and improve their language skills.
Apart from that, AYEC 2024 can also promote equal access to learning opportunities. By providing opportunities for everyone to participate, AYEC 2024 also supports the principle of equal access to education.
Furthermore, through competition and awards in this competition, students can achieve academic achievements and develop language skills that are important for their future lives and careers. This is in line with the 4th SDGs goal to improve the quality of education and prepare individuals for success in life.
