The Self Development Program is a self-development activity held by the BEM FEB Professional Development Department, Universitas Airlangga , which focuses on hard skills aimed at all active undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This Self Development Program aims to prepare all active undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga to develop their hard skills for future progress as well as providing a platform for FEB students to get hard skills certification.
The Self Development Program work program contributes to realizing the SDGs, especially goal 8: Decent work and economic growth. This is achieved through holding training and certification in order to improve skills and education for the workforce. This is in accordance with the 8th SDGs target which encourages economic growth through increasing labor productivity. Continuous education and training helps the workforce adapt to changes in market demands and technology, thereby improving the quality of work and opening up opportunities for better jobs.
Professional development productivity continuously encourages innovation in work practices which emphasizes the importance of economic growth and is supported by increased economic productivity through technological improvements and innovation. A continuously developing profession encourages the creation of added value and efficiency, creating decent working conditions, which ultimately contributes to sustainable economic growth.
