Economic English Club is an event that functions as a development place for those who want to train their soft skills in public speaking using English. This activity is intended for students who wish to practice their English speaking skills so they can take part in debate competitions such as Model United Nations and English language debate competitions.

This activity was carried out in the even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . The event was attended by around 25 selected participants.

This activity opened on March 16 2018, where the participants were given the basics of Model United Nations (MUN) and after this, the MUN simulation itself was run where the participants took part in activities such as moderated caucus, unmoderated caucus, and presenting conclusions.

With the EEC, there will also be a TOEFL seminar which will be held on 9 and 10 November 2018, with the aim of providing useful information for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business who want to take the TOEFL, ELPT, or similar tests. The seminar was also followed by an ELPT test by the Universitas Airlangga Language Center as a form of collaboration.

This is done to help students who have not been able to meet TOEFL standards for graduation and also those who want to improve their ELPT scores. It is hoped that with this seminar BEM FEB Unair can speed up the graduation process and also help those who are still studying to develop further.
