In commemoration of reforms that have been running for 20 years, the Castrates Department of the Student Executive Board (BEM), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unair held a castrates lecture on Tuesday (22/05) in room 602 of the ABC FEB Unair building.

The Kastrat Lecture which carries the theme "Trying to Revive the Dead Student Movement" is different from seminars in general, the Kastrat Lecture shows participants how to learn to create a frame of mind and show the history of action, which was delivered by Imran Ibnu Fajri as an alumni of ITS shipping who once held the position of presbem with He carried out many actions and speeches during his time, as well as Lucky Wahyu, a representative from LAMRI who is an active UNAIR student majoring in History who also often held studies which were followed by actions and closed with a presentation of opinions from the participants.

The event opened with a theatrical performance from UKM Theater UNAIR who read a poem about the current student movement, then continued with a presentation by Imran to try to open students' minds in creating a framework for thinking, differentiating students' way of thinking from ordinary people, and making students aware that it is not possible to criticize a case if only looking from one point of view, if possible you must be able to see all the way to the roots. Then continued with Lucky who explained further Imran's explanation and told the history of the action which involved a large role of students.

Next, the committee tried to make the participants active in forming small groups consisting of 3 people, where the groups discussed the direction of the current student movement, and ended with opinion and opinion activities from each group. There were many opinions and objections expressed from each group. There are those who feel that current action can be done by taking to the streets, achievements and organizations, making a good name for the university through various competitions, and so on.

Kastrat's lecture was closed by the speaker's conclusion regarding the results of the FGD for each group. "The actions taken by students must be able to solve existing problems," the conclusion conveyed by Fajri will make participants think critically again, participants will create a framework for thinking and try to criticize existing problems.

"With the Kastrat Lecture, we hope that students will understand the student movement which is starting to fade and can revive the student movement with the right mechanism, and can take action that is not haphazard," added Devina as the person in charge of the Kastrat Lecture.
