Prepare of Competition (POC) is one of the superior work programs from KSEI ACSES FEB Universitas Airlangga which is under the auspices of the Student Organization (Ormawa) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . KSEI ACESS is an organization that focuses on Islamic economic da'wah and scientific development through various work programs that aim to improve student insight and achievements. One tangible manifestation of this commitment is the POC work program specifically designed to foster and train students in facing various competitions, especially in the fields of scientific plans, essays, scientific papers, and others.
POC aims to provide debriefing to participants to be able to improve their competencies and readiness in participating in competitions, both at the national and international levels. Through material exposure sessions and interactive discussions held online through the Zoom Meeting platform, this activity opens opportunities for students from all over Indonesia to participate and gain insight from inspirational speakers.
The POC 2025 activity was held for two days, on May 3-4 2025, and consisted of two sessions every day. The speakers who attended this activity included:
Hasan Abdul Bar-PKM-VGK PIMNAS 36 gold medalist and Main Achievement Students of UNESA 2024 (Topic: Organization & Achievement),
Arif
Nur Prastyaj Scientific), Rafi Aurelian-President & Co-Founder Bring Changes and World Champion UNESCO Hackathon in Jordan (Topic: International Competition).
This POC program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) especially in the 4th point, namely quality education (quality education), because through this activity participants are encouraged to continue to learn, increase their capacity, and have high competitiveness in academic and non-academic fields. In addition, the POC is also relevant to the 8th point SDGs, namely the Decent Work and Economic Growth (decent work and economic growth), because the competition participated by participants such as Business Plans and PKM is the first step in creating innovative ideas that can contribute to economic growth and entrepreneurship.
With this POC activity, KSEI Access hopes to continue to produce outstanding students who are able to make the name of the campus and have a positive impact on the wider community through the work and innovations produced. This activity is a clear proof that collaboration between management and work programs that are well designed is able to make a major contribution in improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia.
