Personal Branding and Career Mentoring (PBCM) is one of the work programs organized by the PSDM division of the Islamic Economics Student Association of Universitas Airlangga for the 2024 period, namely a series of events with the theme "Build Up Self-Branding and Career Development Through IISMA Program" which contains 2 activities held offline within a period of 3 days. Universitas Airlangga
Islamic Economics students who are interested in the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. PBCM will be held with 2 agendas, namely Seminar, Talkshow and Mentoring which will discuss topics related to the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. The second agenda is a talk show which raises topics related to Adaptability and Time Management as well as mentoring with the topic Essay Practice.
The first agenda is a seminar which will be held on May 14 2024 at the Soepoyo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity contains material presented by 2 external and internal presenters who will discuss the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program and have experience in their fields. The sub-topics that will be discussed in this seminar relate to procedures for joining the IISMA program, the IISMA timeline, things that must be prepared to register for IISMA and other information about the IISMA program.
On the second agenda is a talk show which will be held on May 21 2024 in Classroom 2.04, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity was filled with presentation of material on the topic of Adaptability and Time Management, apart from that it also discussed how to adapt to a new environment, what things to pay attention to when in a new environment, how to manage time, and how to wisely determine priorities.
Next, the final agenda will be held on May 22 2024 in Classroom 2.04, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity is filled with Essay Practice training where the Essay is one of the requirements for registering for the IISMA program. Later, students will be taught and trained to create an essay whose ideas and analysis are structured, systematic, organized and in accordance with IISMA provisions.
This activity aims to provide information related to good personal branding as well as information related to study abroad experiences as preparation for entering the world of careers. This event supports SDGs number (4), namely quality education. This activity underscores the importance of quality education which must be inclusive, relevant and provide the skills needed for a productive life.
