BERKAH
"Berkah" is the Public Relations and Communication division's newest work program in the form of providing compensation in the form of ready-to-eat food to the community. In this first activity, "Berkah" carries the theme of sharing smiles to achieve blessings which is carried out in conjunction with AcSES Social Responsibility and in collaboration with the Yauma Kalijudan Orphanage. These activities will take the form of sharing food, donations, and also teaching, which will also be assisted by the committee from the AcSES Social Responsibility event for the teachers. Where the activity of sharing food is not only within the orphanage, but also with the community around the orphanage.
AcSES Social Responsibility
AcSES Social Responsibility (ASR) is one of AcSES' work programs that raises funds both externally and internally. Later the donations will be distributed to street children in the form of basic necessities, teaching and food. The "Berkah" work program in collaboration with ASR also provides compensation to the community around the orphanage. Donation activities carried out during the month of Ramadan will certainly double our rewards. We hope that the money donated can be used well and help improve the abilities and welfare of children in orphanages. Hopefully the money you donate can be a blessing, both to those who donate and to those who receive it.
Of these 2 activities which were carried out simultaneously, namely the first activity "Blessing" and ASR at the Yauma Kalijudan Orphanage and the surrounding community. Of course, as a form of support for the implementation of SDGs number 1, namely "Ending poverty in all forms everywhere", this is in line with the sub-events of the 2 "Blessings" and ASR activities in the form of sharing food and basic food donations which not only reach orphanage children but also the surrounding community for economic assistance or without sustainable poverty.
Apart from that, "Berkah" and ASR also contribute to SDGs number 4, namely "quality education". Apart from providing assistance and compensation in the form of basic necessities and food, this activity also provides teaching to orphanage children. Where this will of course reach not only children who go to school, but also children who cannot yet go to school. Of course, it can help with ongoing education as well.
Lastly, the "Berkah" and ASR activities which collaborate with each other, as well as with external parties, namely the Yauma Kalijudan Orphanage, certainly support SDGs number 17, namely "Strengthening alliances to achieve common goals". Thus, “Berkah” and ASR activities not only provide direct benefits to recipients, but also support global efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.
