MAGICS 2.0
MAGICS is an acronym for Internship with AcSES. MAGICS itself is one of the HRD Division's work programs which has only been running two (2) times. MAGICS itself is a new work program as a replacement for Sharia Motivation and Achievement Training I (SMART I) which was initially carried out in odd semesters and has now been changed to even semesters. MAGICS itself consists of several series of activities starting from Ormawa Expo, Open Recruitment, Taaruf Day, Weekly Internship Agenda, and Upgrading at Taman Flora.
The Ormawa Expo was held during PIKMEN, several AcSES representatives made presentations in Fadjar Hall and Soepoyo Hall and opened a stand in classroom 318. This was done to introduce AcSES and attract new students to join the organization.
Open recruitment itself is an activity to screen new students who are interested in joining MAGICS, after being screened and the next announcement of acceptance is a follow-up activity and further introduction to touch personally through Taaruf day activities. Taaruf day itself was held in the Akhwat Hall, Nuruzzaman Mosque, Campus B UNAIR.
The next activity is upgrading which is being carried out at Flora Park. This aims to strengthen relationships between interns and AcSES administrators. The activity consists of providing material packaged in the form of group games.
The final activity is the weekly internship agenda. The essence of this activity is to involve interns to actively participate in the AcSES work program. The aim of this activity is to introduce the AcSES work program to new students.
MAGICS 2.0 ended on November 8. It is hoped that with the MAGICS work program new students will be able to experience firsthand the euphoria of joining AcSES and give them the opportunity to choose to stop or continue as staff in the next management period. With this, it is hoped that AcSES will get quality cadres who have high loyalty.
