(FEB NEWS) Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), welcomes Prof. Peter Mikulas from the University in Nitra, Slovakia. This visit was part of the inbound staff program organized by the FEB UNAIR Management Department, in order to strengthen academic collaboration and improve the quality of education, (2/9/2024).
Prof. Peter Mikulas, who is also a representative of the Erasmus program, is here with the mission of developing and training staff, as well as expanding the international cooperation network between Universitas Airlangga and the University of Nitra. His arrival not only reflects cooperation to improve the quality of education, but also as a strategic step in preparing lecturers and academic staff to face global challenges.
Visit of Prof. Peter Mikulas began with a strategic meeting which took place at the Management Department on Monday, September 2 2024. This meeting was an important agenda for the two institutions to exchange ideas and formulate various collaboration program plans. The discussion at the meeting covered various relevant strategic topics, including plans for collaboration in teaching, student mobility programs, staff mobility, collaboration in conferences, and joint scientific writing.
Present at this strategic meeting from FEB UNAIR, Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi - Deputy Dean for Field III, Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto - Head of Management Department; Martha Ranggi Primanthi, SE., MIDEC., Ph.D. - Chairman of the International Office FEB UNAIR; and Sony Kusumasondjaja, SE., M. Com., Ph.D., lecturer from the marketing concentration group at the Department of Management. Their presence shows how important this collaboration is in supporting the internationalization vision Universitas Airlangga .
This strategic meeting ended with the handover of souvenirs by Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi to Prof. Peter Mikulas, as a symbol of appreciation and hope to continue to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions. This souvenir handover was carried out in a warm atmosphere, marking the end of the strategic meeting session.
After the meeting agenda was completed, Prof. Peter Mikulas still has several other important agendas for the next three days at Universitas Airlangga . The agenda includes training in writing scientific papers aimed at young lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, holding guest lectures, as well as exploring local culture.
Visit of Prof. Peter Mikulas is expected to be the start of strengthening relations between Universitas Airlangga and Nitra University, as well as opening up wider collaboration opportunities in the future.
