(FEB NEWS) On June 15 2024, the Regent of Gresik, Fandi Akhmad Yani, received a Master's degree in Disaster Management from the Postgraduate School - Universitas Airlangga . The graduation was part of the 242nd Graduation which was held at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) and was attended by 1,029 graduates from various levels, from the Diploma level to the Doctoral program. Fandi Akhmad Yani, who is familiarly called Gus Yani, has demonstrated impressive academic achievements during his studies at UNAIR.
Before completing the Master's program in Disaster Management, Gus Yani was an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga , where he completed undergraduate studies in the Management Study Program in the class of 2004. Throughout his career, Gus Yani has shown high dedication to public service and regional development, which is now strengthened by in-depth knowledge of disaster management.
Gus Yani is known as a leader who brought many positive changes to Gresik Regency. It is hoped that the Master's Degree in Disaster Management will strengthen his ability to handle various challenges, especially those related to disaster mitigation and management in his region. This graduation also confirms his commitment to continue learning and increasing his capacity for better service to the community.
