"Today, this evening, this second, the happiest person is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga ," was the opening speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak, CMA., CA. in an annual event organized by FEB UNAIR, "INAGURATION NIGHT - APPRECIATION OF ACHIEVING STUDENTS FEB UNAIR IN 2023" to give appreciation to outstanding students/students at FEB UNAIR 2023, (19/12/2023).
Prof. Dian emphasized that holding this event was special for proud students who had made achievements at FEB UNAIR. Prof. Dian also cited the message from the President of BEM FEB UNAIR 2022 - Hafizhun Shadiq, that "this is not the end but the beginning, to achieve student achievements in the future". Prof. Dian also said that it was through their achievements, one of which, FEB UNAIR was able to achieve world achievements, named according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject. In 2023, FEB UNAIR occupied: Accounting and Finance, 101 – 150 in the world/number 1 in Indonesia, Economics and Econometrics, 201-250 in the world/number 1 in Indonesia, while for Business and Management Studies, FEB UNAIR is ranked 251-300 in the World and No. 3 in Indonesia.
According to Prof. Dian said that student achievement is one of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) Universitas Airlangga , and in 2023, in terms of student achievement targets, FEB UNAIR has succeeded in exceeding the target set by scoring 552 outstanding students at the National Level and 96 Achievement Students at the National Level. International Level. Which of course was greeted with a very enthusiastic applause from all the attendees. The speech ended with a demonstration of chanting movements by the Head of the Student Achievement Assistance Center (P3M) FEB UNAIR – Angga Erlando, MEc.Dev. with the Slogan PRESTASI FEB UNAIR - "Great Work - Rapid Achievement".
Also present gave a speech at the inauguration night of the Director of Student Affairs Universitas Airlangga - Dr. M. Hadi Shubhan, SH., MH, CN. In his speech, he congratulated all outstanding students and said that these achievements were non-curricular achievements, which could be used as golden tickets (quoting Prof. Dian's statement) in society. It is this achievement that will lead to subsequent success, either in a career or continuing studies.
Symbolically, the Dean of FEB UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSI., Ak., CMA., CA. accompanied by Deputy Dean III FEB UNAIR – Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi, gave his appreciation to the outstanding students of FEB UNAIR who have made regional, national and international achievements, with a total value of approximately Rp. 375,000,000 (three hundred and seventy five million rupiah) represented by 5 outstanding students from the fields of LKTI, Essays, Entrepreneurship, Sports and Arts.
