WITH DR. ISHMAH OSMAN - EDITOR OF THE JOURNAL OF ISLAMIC MARKETING AT EMERALD INSIGHT, LTD,
(FEB NEWS) Department of Sharia Economics - Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) has successfully held an inspirational event, Sharing Session, which had an interesting theme, namely "Directing Journal to be Indexed by Scopus". The event took place at R. 701, Seventh Floor, ABC Building, FEB UNAIR on November 16 2023. The event was held for journal managers both within UNAIR and outside UNAIR, lecturers and students.
The main speaker at this event was Dr. Ishmah Osman, an Editor of the Journal of Islamic Marketing at Emerald Insight, Ltd, and a Lecturer from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia. His material and presentation provided an in-depth understanding of tricks and tips on how to get journals indexed by Scopus.
Head of the Sharia Economics Department - Prof. Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE, M.Si, enthusiastically opened this event, expressing his gratitude for Dr. Ishmah Osman to attend FEB UNAIR. Prof. Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE, M.Si also expressed his hope that through the sharing session from Dr. Ishmah Osman can provide support, motivation, can complete, perfect, journals in the Department of Sharia Economics, as well as for those outside UNAIR so that their significant benefits can be transmitted.
It is hoped that this event, which is full of valuable information, can be a strategic step in disseminating knowledge and improving the quality of journals within FEB UNAIR as well as outside UNAIR. Not only that, the hope is also to improve the quality of FEB UNAIR students' writing.
