(FEB NEWS) The first week at the beginning of the year, the Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR), held the Closing Ceremony of the MBKM Internship Program which is a collaboration between the Sharia Economics Department, FEB UNAIR and Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya, which is a program Batch I has been implemented since October 2022 and ends in January 2023.
The MBKM Program Closing Ceremony procession was attended directly by representatives of Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya by Vivi Irawati Hadie - Head of Operational Division of Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya, accompanied by Dea Rachmania - Supervisor of Fund Operational Division of Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya. Meanwhile, from the FEB Unair Islamic Economics Study Program, Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE, M.Si. - Head of the Sharia Economics Department, FEB UNAIR, Bayu Arie Fianto, SE, MB., Ph.D. - Head of the Islamic Economics Undergraduate Study Program FEB UNAIR, along with 24 students who graduated from the Bank Jatim Syariah MBKM Internship.
A warm welcome, emotion and laughter at the same time brightened the atmosphere of the Closing Ceremony procession, Dr. Sri Herianingrum, SE, M.Si., said that he was very happy to be able to collaborate with Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya to provide students with the opportunity to complete their knowledge while studying at
FEB UNAIR and to gain direct practical experience in banking. Meanwhile Bayu Arie Fianto, SE, MB., Ph.D. expressed his gratitude to Bank Jatim Syariah for accepting, guiding and treating Islamic Economics FEB Unair students very well. The same thing was also conveyed by Vivi Irawati Hadie, happy to be able to help increase the soft skills and hard skills of FEB Unair Islamic Economics students in the world of work.
Through this Batch I MBKM Internship Program, hopefully it will be a good start for further collaboration with the Batch II MBKM Internship Program and beyond, so that we can continue our joint struggle to provide real benefits and blessings for both parties, as well as for the nation, state and society.
