Abstract

Indonesian universities graduate thousands of graduates every year, most of whom become job seekers rather than job providers. In addition to providing motivation in entrepreneurship courses, students' entrepreneurial motivation needs to be supported by providing entrepreneur role models who can encourage entrepreneurship as well as facilitate the learning process. The lecturers who have the intention of entrepreneurship can be one of the solutions. It is therefore important to understand how to motivate lecturers to have intention in entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors influencing the intention in entrepreneurship among lecturers in the Vocational Faculty of Economics and Business, Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Factors to include are the need for achievement, self-efficacy, and instrumental readiness. Intention entrepreneurship measured by questions in Likert scale with interviews with all thirty lecturers. Using multiple regression analysis in SPSS version 20. This research indicates that the need for achievement, self-efficacy, and instrumental readiness all have positive effects on the intention to become entrepreneurship among lectures of the Vocational Faculty of Economics and Business.
