Abstract

Intention to Quit (desire to stop) is an early symptom that has the potential to cause turnover. Turnover is considered important for organizations because it raises potential costs, both the cost of letting go and the costs of getting replacement workers and their training so that they have the expected quality. For this reason, it is necessary to research factors that can suppress the intention to quit, both in terms of leadership, organizational climate and the work itself. The aim of this research is to show the significance of the variables leadership, organizational climate and job satisfaction on intention to quit in addition to the relationship between variables. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that job satisfaction has a significant effect on intention to quit with a significance value of -2.40. Meanwhile, leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 5.32. Meanwhile, for direct influence, neither leadership nor organizational climate have a significant effect on intention to quit. Based on this research, by creating factors that encourage job satisfaction, it can reduce the desire to quit. By not forgetting, the role of leaders as individuals who will create policies that support increasing job satisfaction such as career development.
