Abstract

The success of an organization depends on its leaders and their leadership style. By adopting the right leadership style, leaders can influence employee satisfaction and performance. Leadership style plays an important role in encouraging the achievement of the best performance by each employee. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the Situational leadership style on employee satisfaction and performance. Based on the research results, it is known that the coefficient value of situational leadership style is 0.142 with a significance value of t of 0.000 <0.05, which means that situational leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance. The interaction coefficient value between situational leadership style and job satisfaction is 0.105 with a positive sign. Indicates that with job satisfaction the influence of situational leadership style on performance becomes stronger. This means that situational leadership is considered suitable for use in the state-owned sugar industry.
