Suaramuslim.net – Dile Carnigie tells the story that a leading businessman gave bonuses to his employees. Each person gets US $ 10,000. But apparently, no one said thank you to him. For a full year, the businessman was hurt and regretted the money he had spent, even though the people who hurt him didn't realize it. He had taken poison for himself.
If he knew that through the hands of Isa Al Messiah, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala healed dozens of paralyzed people, but not a single word of thanks came from them. Did he Isa 'alaihissalam stop treating people?
If only he knew that the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam had cured various illnesses, prayed for goodness, had brought light from the deep darkness of life, brought heaven closer to us. Did he saw? ask someone for a reply? Has he ever asked for wealth, even just a headband for his sake? In fact, some of them turned away, denied, denied, even insulted, hurt and tried to kill him, peace be upon him. Did he saw? give up and stop doing it?
If only we could understand that everything that happens is because of and permitted by His power, including the 'good' we do and the 'bad' they do. If we are able to understand that the 'good' we do is simply to get closer to Him, then the word 'thank you' is not important to us. If we can also understand that their 'crimes' are a test of the sincerity of our hearts, then the most important thing is His 'smile'.
