Happy and proud news was brought again by three Airlangga knights from the
Development Economics undergraduate study program. With maximum effort and a long process,
finally the Airlangga knight team in the name of Syekha Maulana Ilyas, Aldi Pratama Sembiring and
Hasbi Ash Shidiq won 2nd place in the national level Economic Student Debate competition at
the University of Borneo Tarakan.
Starting with an essay selection, this activity entitled Micro Macro Competition was attended by
dozens of teams from all universities in Indonesia. Taking the big theme
"The Role of Youth in Building the National Economy in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 Towards
a Golden Indonesia 2045", many motion topics were prepared for debate,
including education, financial technology, e-commerce and Indonesia's readiness to
face the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
