The Tax Plore Scientific Writing Competition is an annual event organized by the Fiscal Administration Science Student Association, University of Indonesia or KOSTAF. This event was held to bring together economics students as well as an opportunity to convey ideas and solutions offered regarding taxation in the digital era.
This year's Tax Plore Scientific Writing Competition has a big theme, namely "Taxation in the Digital Era" . This theme was raised in accordance with the momentum of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which was planned to be a new tool in industry where the majority of activities in industry can be digitalized by increasing business efficiency and effectiveness so that it requires thinking about the challenges and opportunities of taxation in the digital era.
This agenda has three stages, namely starting with the preliminary round which is selected from various universities in Indonesia and determining the top 10 who qualify for the final round or presentation stage, then determining the 5 best teams to advance to the case study round, then the 3 best teams to determine 1st place, 2 and 3.
The teams that made it to the final round were Telkom University, Universitas Airlangga , University of Indonesia, Gajah Mada University, Sebelas Maret University and STAN State Financial Polytechnic. The final result of the competition was that first place was occupied by Gajah Mada University, second place by STAN State Finance Polytechnic and third place by Universitas Airlangga in the name of Yuliandi Fikri, Bachelor of Development Economics 2015 study program and Hasbi Ashshidiqi D3 Taxation 2015.
