Fostering the principle of kinship between management through upgrading activities

Upgrading is an activity that is always carried out at the beginning of the management of the Economics and Business Student Cooperative or commonly known among FEB residents as KOPMEB. Upgrading has become a culture passed down from generation to generation, between management periods. But don't be mistaken that upgrading is a scary activity, there are "angry" sessions by seniors at their juniors. This upgrading activity is solely to bond the management together so that the execution of the work program that has been prepared during the management period can run solidly, compactly and smoothly. The implementation of this upgrading activity is expected to be able to produce solid management and of course to be able to establish the desired "team work".

This upgrading activity was carried out on Friday-Sunday, 15-17 March 2019 at Villa Vanny, Pacet, Mojokerto. This activity is filled with several solidarity games. Considering that this activity is to build a sense of kinship and togetherness, all administrators are divided into several groups randomly and rolled out to take part in the games so they can get to know each other. Apart from that, there is material provided by the KOPMEB Supervisor regarding organizational material so that in the future you will understand the substance of joining an organization. Because many students just join an organization but don't know what they really want to look for in that organization. Then this activity was followed by arson. Of course, it wasn't the house that was burned, the burning in question was grilling corn, sausages and other types of food. After that, all the administrators, including the general chairman of KOPMEB, Michael Hans Hartojo from Development Economics class of 2017, wrote down first impressions for all of the administrators.

Of course, this upgrading activity must be maintained so that it continues from one management to the next with the hope of being able to produce managers who have a high sense of family. In accordance with the principles of cooperatives in general, namely the principle of kinship. Apart from that, it can also increase cooperation between administrators so that they can achieve the classic tagline, namely #zeromistake.
