Preparation Program (PREPRO) 2018 is a curriculum seminar event held by Hima S1 Management with the Department of Management to provide general knowledge for new students regarding the five concentrations in the S1 Management Study Program as well as being the beginning of welcoming new S1 Management students before taking part in department orientation activities .
The purpose of holding this event is as a means of introducing concentrations, an overview of concentrations, and job prospects for each concentration in the Bachelor of Management Study Program. Apart from that, this event can also be used as a means to foster and increase togetherness and cohesiveness between Bachelor of Management students
This time, the 2018 Prepro event raised the theme Divergent , which was adopted from a film about 5 groups/factions that exist in life, where the five factions have characters that correspond to the five concentrations in the Bachelor of Management Study Program. These include Amity (Marketing Management) which has a friendly nature, Candor (Financial Management) with an honest nature, Erudite (Operations Management) with a genius nature and being able to manage existing resources in a company, Abnegation (HR Management) with a helpful nature and embracing all groups, Dauntles (Entrepreneurship) is known for its character who dares to take risks. This prepro event invites lecturers from each concentration to present material per concentration. Furthermore, this event also presented alumni in a sharing session regarding lecture activities and job prospects after graduating from the Bachelor of Management Study Program.
It is hoped that through this PREPRO event all new students will be able to better understand and understand the 5 concentrations in the Bachelor of Management Study Program and can minimize the occurrence of errors in choosing concentrations in semester 6.
