GRWE or Gebyar Ramadhan With Ekis is an event organized by the Public Relations division of the Islamic Economics Student Association as a form of concern for people in need. In this GRWE event there are 5 sub-activities, namely sharing takjil before breaking the fast, sahur on the road (sharing food during sahur), Ramadhan safari as a form of branding for Islamic Economics, and the highlight of the GRWE event which was held at the Muhammadiyah Putat Jaya Orphanage.
This activity was held considering that there are still people who are less able to meet their food needs and there is no time to break the fast or sahur at home, but on the street. In implementing the takjil distribution, we collaborate with external parties such as IZI. The highlight of the event will be held at the Muhammadiyah Putat Jaya Orphanage with several series of activities such as playing games, breaking fast together, and closing with the delivery of basic necessities in the form of oil, rice and other basic necessities.
This entire series of activities was carried out offline for 5 days, namely on April 1, 7, 8, 14 and 17 2023, located on the streets around Surabaya and the Putat Jaya Muhammadiyah Orphanage. This activity is related to SDGs number 2 without hunger because the aim of holding this activity is to share food and basic necessities with underprivileged communities.
