Field Research Program or which is an acronym for RD is one of the work programs of the Scientific Division, Islamic Economics Student Association in the field of exploring research capabilities for Islamic economics students, Faculty of Islamic Economics, Universitas Airlangga . PPL is a forum for students who are interested in Islamic economics to improve their intellect and abilities in the process of achieving the common goal of grounding Islamic economics in Indonesia through research, from which research can be turned into scientific writing. PPL itself is a form of effort to realize the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the field of research.

The Field Research Program is carried out once a week in odd and even semesters. In 2018, we have successfully completed the field research program which spanned 7 months.

The aim of carrying out this field research program is to determine the potential and existence of developments that can be carried out for the community in accordance with the Tridharma of Higher Education. In carrying out this activity, students will use the knowledge they have gained in lectures to be distributed to the community around the Jogokariyan mosque, Yogyakarta city. Which is in accordance with this year's PPL theme which raises the topic "Mosque donation funds have great potential to improve the welfare of the people"

But in this program. As the person in charge of this research program, we experienced several obstacles. One of them is regarding participant appreciation which is not in accordance with the planned target. This is the biggest encouragement to continue pursuing this program considering that students need this program for environmental sensitivity, especially in the field of writing.

The results achieved in this research program were that students really enjoyed the research process carried out with the object of the Jogokariyan Mosque, Jogjakarta. But it doesn't stop there, the follow-up to the research process is to require students to adopt the habit of reading and using Indonesian properly and correctly so that the process of writing research work becomes better.
