2019 Ekis Workshop, Brawijaya University
Islamic Economics students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) succeeded in becoming Call for Paper finalists in the 2019 National Ekis Workshop competition at Universitas Brawijaya. They are Fatoni Mahendra Kurniawan (2014), Annisa Rahma Febriyanti (2016), Shinta Sunja P (2017), Ibnu Jauzi (2017), and Herlin Rahmayanti (2017). The Islamic Economics Delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) sent at least 2 delegates to the 2019 Ekis Workshop.
The 2019 Ekis Workshop Competition took place at Brawijaya University from 15-18 September 2019. The 2019 Ekis Workshop Competition consisted of delegates from twelve well-known universities, namely Brawijaya University, Semarang State University, Universitas Airlangga , Darusalam Gontor University, Trunojoyo Madura University, University of Lampung, University of Indonesia, and Gunadarma University.
The topics in their scientific papers are varied. Fatoni Mahendra Kurniawan's team created an innovation, namely Poinku.Id, an application and website-based online platform that functions to increase ZISWAF's fund collection. Ibnu Jauzi's team discussed Sharia Tourism combined with Sharia tourism which takes advantage of the existence of thecepatren cottage.
We hope that our writing skills will be able to preach Islamic Economics. Apart from that, we hope to be able to actively participate in the development of Islamic Economics in Indonesia.
