Becoming the youngest individual at the prestigious event held by PSDKU Universitas Airlangga Banyuwangi at The 2nd Airlangga National Conference of Accounting 2018 was something that Raden Roro Widya Ningtyas Soeprajitno (Semester 5 – Class of 2016) never expected. This student from Universitas Airlangga – Surabaya bravely took part in the Accounting Paper/Scientific Paper writing event and competed with lecturers of various ages and degrees throughout Indonesia.

"Just have the courage to submit, write a paper with only less than 5 days before closing, and even then I don't think it will pass," he said. Asked again about the reason he took part in the event. To our team, he admitted, "I just came home a week ago from the FCAE - ICAEW event and presented a paper, but my paper was still given lots of suggestions, and one of the judges, who was a UNAIR alumnus as Head of ICAEW Indonesia - Mr. Deny expressed enthusiasm that My idea would be very good to improve and complete, he was sure that my paper would be able to be published."

He continued, "And, when I found out that there was an ANCA event that had the opportunity to be published, I thought it wouldn't be wrong for me to try. I changed the entire contents of my paper, literally from the start, I had to stay up late so I could finish submitting it, but I didn't expect it, it passed!”

“I just did what I could do, I did my best with my maximum effort. At least my version has to be perfect. Heheh," he added again, assuring that he had actually tried his best.

Our team saw the enthusiasm of this 5th semester student, that not trying is something that makes you blind to your potential and abilities! So, just do it, and don't forget to learn something to continue improving and becoming worthy.
