The Airlangga Accounting League (AAL) is one of the agendas carried out by the Intellectual Division of the Accounting Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . AAL is also an academic training activity in the field of Accounting outside of the lecture schedule. The aim of this activity is to prepare Bachelor of Accounting students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga to face the Olympiad in Accounting. Apart from that, this activity aims to develop the hard skills of Bachelor of Accounting students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga so that they can deepen some of the material taught in lectures.
The Airlangga Accounting League began with participant selection on 25 - 26 February 2019 in classroom 204. The participants who registered were 69 students consisting of the classes of 2016, 2017 and 2018. From screening through selection, the 30 students with the top rankings were able to take part in the training This. Regarding training, it will be carried out six times starting from March 8 2019 to November 15 2019 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga . AAL is held every Friday according to the schedule and materials determined by the committee.
So far, AAL training has been held twice, namely the first on March 8 2019 at 09.00 - 11.00 WIB at the Tirto Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business. In this inaugural training, the material discussed was Audit, which was filled by an experienced senior named Aora Alkahfi and attended by 15 participants. Meanwhile, the second AAL training was held on April 24 2019 at 18.30-20.30 WIB in classroom 211. In this second training the material discussed was Intermediate Financial Accounting I which was filled by an alumnus named Fajar Kristanto who was attended by 10 participants.
