The 2018 Feb Unair Dean's Cup series was successfully closed elegantly on September 13 2018 which was held at the DBL Arena Surabaya. This event succeeded in attracting the attention of many members of the Faculty of Economics and Business. A total of 1200 FEB students attended to enliven and support their proud team. How could it not be interesting, this big sporting event throughout FEB is a place to show off abilities in the fields of interest and talent that FEB Unair residents look forward to every year as well as competing for the rotating trophy of the FEB Unair Dean's Cup.
Eight sports were competed in this event, consisting of basketball, football, futsal, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and E-Sport, which were attended by four departments at FEB, namely, Management, Accounting, Islamic Economics, and Development Economics
The phenomenal closing carried out by the SEGA (Arts and Sports) department of BEM FEB Unair was attended by the Deputy Dean I FEB, Dr. Rudi Purwono and special staff for Vice Dean I, Mr. Choirul Mubin, to close the 2018 Dean Cup.
The 2018 Dean's Cup was won by Accounting as the overall champion, while the defending champion for two years in a row, namely Management, had to be satisfied with ending the Dean's Cup in second place followed by Development Economics and Islamic Economics.
EcoBizz Dance Crew and Mata Angin Theater as well as the inaugural FEBULOUS also collaborated to enliven the closing performance of this year's Dean Cup by presenting a performance in accordance with the theme of this year's Dean Cup, "Step Up to Revolution".
Thus, this major sporting event throughout FEB is officially closed and it is hoped that the enthusiasm of FEB residents for the Dean Cup will never fade and will always uphold sportsmanship and the name of the alma mater for the sake of realizing FEB Satu! Airlangga Jaya!. (*)
